Born in Tembisa, Thopane Rachoene (aka Kofi), grew up between Tembisa and Daveyton areas under the Ekhurhuleni Municipality in Gauteng, South Africa. A 2006, Chemistry graduate at University of Limpopo, in Limpopo, South Africa. He has over a decade of experience as a Chemist practicing in Academia, Laboratory Services, Mining Research, and Mining Services. Just like every other Entrepreneur Thopane used to sell sweets in his early schooling days. He mentions that the experience made him to be self-sufficient as he no longer had to ask for money for lunch-box. He later resumed his Entrepreneurial career in 2016 when he founded Racho Holdings, a holding company with interests in FINTECH, Mining and Chemical Services, Rental Properties and Technology. He is currently serving as the CEO of Phidisano Finance, a leading and one of the few service providers in the field of Alternative Finance (FINTECH) offering Tender and Purchase Order Funding in support of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) doing business with both government and private corporates. He is an ardent reader and a writer. He enjoys running and playing music, among other things.
