Information Giants (Pty) Ltd is committed to processing personal information lawfully and responsibly, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This page explains how we meet POPIA’s requirements and how you can exercise your rights. Read it together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Our Information Officer is registered with the Information Regulator and is responsible for our compliance with POPIA and for handling requests from data subjects.
The eight conditions for lawful processing

How to make a request
- Access your information: email our Information Officer with your name and what you would like to see. We will confirm your identity before sharing anything.
- Correct or delete your information: use Form 2 of the POPIA Regulations, or email us with the details you want changed or deleted.
- Object to processing or direct marketing: use Form 1 of the POPIA Regulations, click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or email us.
- Withdraw consent: email us, or change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer.
We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days where access requests fall under the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). Copies of our PAIA manual are available on request from our Information Officer.
Complaints to the Information Regulator
We would like the chance to resolve any concern first, so please contact our Information Officer. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Current contact details and complaint forms are published at inforegulator.org.za.
Our website assistant
