Rev. Phuti Marcus Nkoe

Rev. Phuti Marcus Nkoe published two books with Information Giants Publishers: Pastors’ Performance Enhancement Tool, as well as Marriage By God’s Design. Based on many years of pastoral ministry, district leadership and as a member of the General Presbytery, Ps Nkoe produced this excellent “tool” to manage expectations, improve communication, minimise possible conflicts, foster good relationships and the establishment of healthy boundaries in the Body of Christ. It covers, among others, the pastor’s life, role and responsibilities; the assembly’s leadership team; and the church’s responsibility.
The ultimate goal of the “Pastors’ Performance Enhancement Tool” is to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the church. It is an easy read, straight to the point, with references from both the Bible and the constitution of the International Assemblies of God, the two major documents that govern our operation and ministry. Pastoral ministry is extremely stressful, demanding, and very challenging, but it is also fulfilling and rewarding as pastors discharge their God-given mandate and call to shepherd His flock. The major cause of stress on pastors emanates from demands made by congregants, which are compounded by the pastor’s many roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Marriage is founded by God and He has provided His word as a manual for its success. Now more than ever, the world needs His intervention to ensure that marriages thrive. Reverend Nkoe, who has been married for more than three decades and has counselled many couples, looks at what the word of God has to say about critical issues that married couples might face in marriage. He also offers Biblical advice to those wishing to marry. It is a book founded on God’s principles to build better marriages for His glory!
Reverend Phuti Marcus Nkoe is an ordained pastor of the International Assemblies of God Church (IAG). He has been a leader and pastor for over 30 years. Reverend Nkoe is deeply committed to helping people in having Godly marriages, and his role as a pastor has afforded him the opportunity to counsel innumerable couples, conducting both pre-marital and marital counselling. He has not only been blessed with a blissful marriage to Salphina Mmutlana Nkoe since 1985, but he has also experienced how adhering to God’s principles for marriage is the key to thriving in marriage and overcoming any obstacle. For 13 years, he served as treasurer of the IAG in the Limpopo provincial structure. He has been the provincial president of IAG in Limpopo since 2013. He is married for 36 years and has four children, two sons-in-law, and one daughter-in-law. He is also the proud grandfather of four wonderful grandchildren.
In this leadership and administrative role, he is now serving for an interrupted period exceeding 20 years. Observations and experience gained in this period of servanthood gave birth to his consuming desire for churches to have sound and healthy administration; hence, the book you are holding in your hands.
