THE WOMAN IN ME: My Scars Tell A Story is a book about personal reflection and a journey to healing.

She opens up her heart to provide motivation to someone who may have seen it and lost the urge to go on, the hope to dream on, the energy to work more, and the speed to keep up. There is power in sharing personal experiences – the story is authentic, uncut and bravely told without fear of being judged. Maybe you have a scar that tells the story of a life almost lost, whether from cancer or addiction or abuse. Your story could become your ministry. Jesus used His scars to tell His story of redemption. We can use our scars to point others to our Healer, to our Comforter, and to our Giver of Truth, eternal life, and second chances. So often, we try to hide our scars from those wounds. They remind us of the hurt. But you need to see your scars in a new light. God allowed that scar to remind you of what He brought you through. Don’t think of the pain, think of the grace of God. The scar means the wound has healed, the pain is over, and you’re moving forward.
